I think I have a retarded ball. I went to feed him and he won't eat the live mouse. Understandble. But now I cannot get the mouse out of the cage. The mouse is hiding in the snake's hide, all the way in the back. The snake is now coiled up, ready to strike right in front of him, but he is facing the open end of the hide, not the end with the mouse in it. It seems Michael has made a friend with his food. He tries to strike at me everytime I try to move him out of the way. He has no intentions of eating the mouse since the mouse walks right up to his mouth and he doesn't react at all. What should I do? I don't want to get bitten, but I don't want to leave the mouse in there either. The mouse hasn't done anything mean to Michael, but figure it would be safer to remove him from the cage. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
