I caught this guy about 2 months ago and I was going to relocate him but then he escaped. I don't live near any water but it has rained very hard in the afternoon here. After a month of not seeing him i saw a car stopped up the road and there he was. He lost a considerable amount of weight, his tail used to be alot thicker, but I took him to my pond and let him go so he will be alright.

Anyway he had a 19 inch shell and the first time I weighed him he was about 65 pounds.

Thats one of the biggest common snappers that I have ever seen. Awesome photos of that thing.
