New to Building Habitats need help

Hello every one im new to this forum as of right now my fiance and i have a corn snake (in 50gal critter cage with a few things in it) as well as an arizona king snake (in 10 gal aquariam with some wood and grape vine) im looking to start doing some large scale setups since we are moving out of the apartment

Can any one give me some advice on resources for building habitats, and building 3-d backgrounds and waterscapes

any advice would be great just please bear with me as i said im new to all this

As far as elaborate habitats are concerned, you may wish to check out the cage/habitat forum. There they can not only make some suggestions, but may warn you of some of the potential pitfalls to a "fancy" setup. Some of them can look great, but can also be hard to clean/take proper care of. Some water features can run the humidity too high for many snakes, and in general the maintenance may be more than you want. On the other hand, with just a couple of snakes you may have the time to pamper such a setup. Duffy
