that we don't see the yellow belly of the male in the photo.
On the other hand... The brown/black of my male looks grey at night.

Bas

Hi Bas,

well Brain got them from Peter, the guy Ronald and I have mine from and he said that these would be the same as Roland and I have. Maybe from an earlier hatch ('96 or so). In fact mine never look green. So what about Rolands ? Do they look green somehow? Brian's other big one is quite dark is it looks like one from the NT.

What do you think?

Cheers,
Wulf

P.S.: Bas, I'll try to get the gallery installed again without having someone using it for spam mails...

Let me know if I can help you out Wulf!

The one on the last photo does look somewhat dark.
I don't know about Ronald's fuscus, I haven't seen them since they were 5 months old. I had him on the phone a couple of hours ago, monday I'll ask him to e-mail some photos. i thought he said his female was a bit lighter than the male and I remember seeing them as babies, they were much lighter than mine and the female had a greenish color. The ones I hatched last year are very dark brown, almost black, with a high amount of bright yellow on their bellies, much more than the one on the photo of Mr Man
Wulf, how big are yours right now? Mine don't grow very fast. 3 of 4 are still eating mice and are just over a metre, the other is on rats and is about 1m20.
Cheers,
Bas
PS. have you seen my photos on the ball python forum? Today my female gave me 4 good eggs and a slug as a birthday present
The male is the jungle, you've probably seen photos of him. I wonder what hatches.

Hi Bas,

well the do grow very slowly I think (looking at the wlps babies of same age). But in fact I do not have a regular feeding schedule like a mouse once in a week or so. Perhaps thats the reason why. But anyway mine are about 1m in length (didn't messure them for ages...). But acutally they feed on everythin they can eat.

Cheers,
Wulf
