For all you "normal" lovers (sorry dial-up)

Big Red just shed, and for a proven female, still shows decent color. I wanted to post larger pics (sorry dial -up users) because the smaller pics just did not pic up her color.

I hoped by only posting 3 at a time, maybe dial up will be able to open them.
I posted an older pic as well to show that the color covers her belly as well. The flash stole some of her red coloring, but I think you can still see it fairly well.
I missed her ovulation this season, hopefully she will throw me a big litter next season.

came to me as a proven adult. I believe her to be Columbian. Outside of some smudging on the top, (which I would think is the result of her darkening when she had her first litter) she is a clean animal w/ very little flecking. She has boldly outlined saddles I hope she will pass to her offspring. That is one of the traits I liked about the jungles, though I wish her saddles could be a bit lighter in the middle. If bred to another clean animal, I'm hoping the babies produced will be spotless with boldly outlined saddles...of course, if she passed on her remarkable red side & belly color, that would be a nice bonus...to bad her dorsal color is normal - but, then again, her red might not be as noticable if she didn't have the contrast. Eventually I will breed her to a het albino or dh sunglow, just in case I get lucky...stranger things have happened...albeit, not to me yet.
