Help with fake rock ledges, please!

platinumtlc Jul 12, 2005 11:00 PM

Alright, so yeah I'm blown away by the rock ledges that people have shown that wrap around the back and the sides of the tank so their reptiles can climb and wander. Right now I have a collared lizard in a 20H decent looking tank with a background. I am switching over to a 20L and another collared. I really want to pimp out this tank and I would really love to learn how to do half a decent job some of the people here have done with their ledges. How do they do that? Is it a lot of work?
I also want to add real plants, like cactus, to add to the desert theme. Are any cactus alright? Or are there any special types I should steer towards?
Thanks for all the help and I really can't wait to get started on it.
