well i think its a nice idea...50W infared ...for my baby

i mean woul dit matter that much? he sleeps all day and doesnt wake until 10-11 at night and goes back to sleep very early..

i mean to just leave it on 12 hours a day......

Back before I had racks, I used the red bulbs for supplemental heat to UTH(in glass tanks).

They can't see the red spectrum, so you can leave them on 24 hours.

worked well for my application at the time.
