Hi all...just curious how everyone that keeps superworms(zoophobas) keeps them?
I myself keep them in damp peatmoss, and ocassionally feed them wheat flake.I hve kept them indefinitely in this manor, and very seldom have any dead ones. I have to add, I normally keep a couple thousand on hand.
I've tried the 'keep them in wheat middlings', but they kept drying out and dying. No matter what I did, water cubes, apples, potatoes...etc.
My only problem now is that it seems after a month or so of keeping them, when I feed, especially to my turtles, they refuse them or spit them out.
I'm thinking the peatmoss gives them a bad taste?
So, I'm open to hints and suggestions from others.
Thanks
