One of my captives, Aaron Mattson stock

Brad Alexander Jul 13, 2005 05:56 PM

Yeah, yeah, I know, we would all much more enjoy a wild caught over a captive picture any day. Since I took some pics of my animals today, I thought I would go ahead and share this one. Of course, if I found one like this in the wild, I would just photograph it and let it go, stupid 277's (yeah right!).

Can I have it? Ric Blair

I know Ric you are like permanantly on the top of my list. I think you passed on that one for some pinstripes. At least you will get the best of my knobs this year. I only have 3 eggs but they are from that killer busy female so lets hope there are some good ones or one good one in there at least. I even put your name above mine this year but I'll try not to let that happen again LOL.

Man that thing turned out nice! Unfortunately it seems like I have to produce about 30 for every 1 like that. In case anybody was wondering Adam Sweetman's genetics are responsible for that snake, although there could be some Dan Johnson blood in there from the father. It is always my best Adam Sweetman female Blair's that thows the ones that look like that. She is 8 years old now. I got 4 good eggs from her this year. I held back a black-headed Blair's female last year I've got to hold back at least one male if I get any like that this year. It's never hard to sell them when they look like that.

Cool snake. Don't recall seeing one with a reduced nuchal like this one.
