I've been working on making one out of lawn care supplies for a while. They just take a good amount of planning and a bit more work to set up. But you get the same results as with a premade one.

Check out your local hardware store in the lawn care section and see what you come up with.

how do you get them to turn on and off automatically? Thats the only part I really need. Otherwise my spray bottle produces a fine mist... I just have to remember to mist 3 times a day.

The unit you are looking for is designed to turn on and off by means of an internal timer and program that will allow it to. Its fully automated. The actual amount of time you want the misting turned on is adjustable too.

Obviously spray bottles make a fine mist...

You use an electric pump that is connected to a timer.

If you have a very fine misting nozzles, you will have to see how much time will be required to properly mist, as most misting nozzels have very low water output.

The ONLY one we use in zoos and private builds is one from Pro-products. Bob has the best one ever and i've tried them all.
it is such a fine mist, and with the pump not having to be on the floor like with others, it's really a no brainer. it self prims, last for years and even though bobs a bit techinical for most, the best place to get a full system under a hundred. let me know if you want one.
Contact me about his misting system! it's the only one large zoos use!

the only good one is pro-products. it's what we use in our zoo clients and many other zoos rely as much on it too.

it will last longer, give a better mist and don't need priming or for the pump to be at the bottom of the resivor (sp).

it's the best for anything and a lot cheaper then mist king or the like.
bob at pro-products, tell him deven sent you.
