Preventing contact with hot bulbs

goini04 Jul 13, 2005 11:17 PM

Hello all,

I keep my burm in a cage that has the bulb on the inside of the cage. I was wondering if anyone has any successful methods of keeping the snake from having contact with the bulb? I thought about trying to build something, but dont exactly know what would be best.

Any ideas?

Thanks for any replies.

Chris

A bulb cage would do the job. Try Big Apple herp...or Custom Cages.
I personally prefer radiant heat panels.

Since that appears to be a highly recommended fix for this through all the forums I have asked this in, I guess that sounds like my answer. Thanks for the help!

RHP, no better way man! You can even paint them if you feel so inclined!
