First Glades Rats for 05 hatched

snakesunlimited1 Jul 14, 2005 01:06 AM

I was happy to see some baby glades hatching out today. I will post pics of them after their first shed. Poor little things are so ugly compared to momma and daddy that I feel sorry for them every year they pop out. I love watching the change they go through though especially with this line I have from Kathy Love. This clutch is normal het for hypo and now I am waiting on the hypos. They should be out in about 10 days. For the time being I will give you a bad pick of the male. LOL

Nice ! The one pictured is a normal het ? He has some serious orange coloration.

I need to hook him up with my female. In regards to her coloration, haven't seen a male that compares... ... 'til your post, that is.

Nice Glades!

Thanks the blood line I have is from Kathy Love's stock and she had some of the best for years. I got some of the last animals she produced before she got out of them. I love these guys and they look better in person. Almost everyone who has seen my collection has wanted some. Out of all my snakes(about 100) I get the most comments about them. They gotta be the best purchase I have made over the years. Here is a yearling that is already colored up.

Keith in the rat snake forum is that allowed??? I see you are getting some yellows. I thought you where cutting back man. Now you need some glades LOL. Anyway nuff of that the pic is of my Hypo-glades adult male. He is about 5ft and solid orange. The normal glades I have has more red in her orange. I will get a pic of her up soon as I am ready to start selling the babies. With the everglades you need to see the parents because people call every yellow with a spec of orange a glades. Look on the ads and try to find one real glades right now. It is a pain because people doubt you when you say you have glades.
