I took jasmine into the vet yesturday and found out that it was an absess. He used a needle to get all the crap out of it and tested it to see if there where any worms or wierd bacteria. He said it was kinda wierd there really wasnt much bacteria. Just a lot of white blood cells. Also, no worms. So it turned out pretty well. I just have to use this topical cream on the area 3 times a day for a couple weeks and hopefully there will be no further problems. He also told me to warm the cage up to about 95 on the hot side and above 80 on the cool side to help speed up the imune system. He said it could maybe be some type of scale rot so I just gotta make sure I keep the cage nice and clean. I donno really. I clean it out and wash the glass every two weeks. I always change the substrate after in goes to the bathroom at all. I know it is not from getting bit by an animal because I only feed frozen thawed rats. Anyway I will just make sure to keep taking good care of her and keep the heat up and use this topical ointment and hopeully I will have no more problems in the future. Here is a pic of her last meal.
