hi everyone
just got 8 baby royals,
which i started to probe, well the results are counting from the first large scale(flap i call it) 4 of probe 6/7 , 2 of went to 9 (males)
and 2 went to 3 scale depth
so would that be 6 girls and two boys ?????

Try sexing them again when they grow a bit - sometimes babies can probe a little off because their parts aren't fully developed (maybe not the right terminology - but you get the drift). 6 or 7 could go either way. Congrats on the new additions!

cheers for that, i alway though that females could probe up to 6-7
hard to see the scales on hatchlings too
