...my first clutch have all shed out...so...more pics!

coldthumb Jul 14, 2005 02:42 PM

These hatched out on June 6...all have shed..some have fed.
Ended up with 3.5. Of which seven were dark looking(darker than either mom or pop)and 0.1 really light one.

Of these two,the dark one is the male i plan to introduce to mom this year.

One of him right from the egg

Group shot

mom-n-pop

...maybe i'll get to see more like mom next year...maybe i wont...but at the very least, pop was still a 50% possible het caramel.

Hey Charles,

Nice looking clutch! I hope you prove out Pops, that would be a treat! Take care.

Best Wishes,

In the 4th and 5th pictures. He reminds me of gulf coasts labyrinth balls that produced the black balls. Kool look animals. That adult male is a screamer also. Thanks David

I traded that adult male to Tosha for another adult male.Which is another burgundy dinkin project i'll start this year.(With some ltc females i've had here for a while now).

So i guess i need to buy a het caramel male(or better)next season as well.

nice clutch charles,

I hope the mom(and pop) prove out.

Has any proved them out yet??

anyway best of luck

Thank you Tom.
Neither the big "burg" girl or the other newly aquired "burg" male are proven yet.Actually, these are my first hatchlings ever. With only one more clutch of three due to pip(any day now!)
The "mom" is much lighter than the "newly aquired male",but i'll give him a girl next season anyway.
So far so good for this first project.Hatchlings are eating and so is mom.So i have my fingers crossed for next season.
(Mom again)
