What do you think of her?

Sac-snake-man Jul 14, 2005 06:10 PM

I got her this spring. She has gotten yellowier with every shed. Of course, the camera doesn’t do her justice. The mouse in the really bad pic is a hopper and is in front of her a bit. She is an eating machine! I will get some pics of her out doors this weekend.
I think she’s not half bad.

That's an outstanding specimen! Are you going to breed it? ...or just keep it as a pet/display animal? Either way, thanks for sharing!

That is quite a compliment coming from someone of your reputation. I have always admired Reptilicus!
I think she is from a hatch in late fall to early spring, so I have quite a bit of time before I can breed her. She came from a reputable breeder in the East Bay (San Francisco Bay Area) threw a shop in Campbell, CA. The shop owner has one of the finest, crayon yellow, JCPs I have ever seen! Striker is about 5 years and very tame.
Yes, I would like to breed her so I am going to start to keep my eyes out for a good candidate. Any in your new stock that look like a good match?
As I said, the pictures don’t do her justice, so I’m going for some outdoor shots with a good camera. I will take the pictures with my IJ for proof of yellow.

-Thanks again

P.S
Pics of Rebekah scared the hell out of my wife; I had to tell her she came from Monster Island and not to worry about our Carpets

Thank you for the kind words! This year I believe we are all sold out, but you may sign up on our waiting list for next year if you are interested. Shoot me an email and I'll give you the details. Meanwhile, good luck with your snake!

P.S.
Regarding Rebekah, her size is pretty unusual. You won't see many Jungles that can equal her overall length. In fact, she's larger than our biggest Coastal!
