gavinclews Jul 14, 2005 06:12 PM

I have lots of bearded dragons but this was the first one i ever had and he is the best. I cant bare to think of anything happening to him. He doesnt look too well tonight, like he has no energy. He has been eating his food as he normally does over the last couple of days but he seems to be loosing weight. I have given him a load of waxworms which i dont normally do to try and pile on the pounds but nothing is doing the trick. Im running out of ideas. Can anyone help me?

Get to a vet and have a fecal and some bloodwork done.
If a dragon is eating but dropping weight, it is usually something major that needs taken care of right away

I agree, take it to the vet ASAP. My dragon had the same symptoms and she had a sist in her belly. They drained it but it came back and ruptured. And she died a few hours later. My dragon had a round mass in her belly you could feel. Try feeling his belly for something kind of hard. I hope your dragon will be ok.
