I have wanted a pair of Knobs for a long time now, so I did some research and asked some very knowledgable people (thanx jeph!) and with their help found a good breeder in Missouri (Troy Whitacre). They shipped out yesterday at noon, I received them today at 9:15 AM, now that's great shipping/service. I unpacked them long enough to take a couple pics then let them hide out in their individual enclosures. They are both feeding on f/t pinks, and look very healthy, and beautiful. The whole transaction with Troy was top notch, I highly recommend. Tell me what you think

Those are beautiful snakes! Congrats on the great find. Where in Missouri are you located? I'm about 40 minutes south of Downtown St.Louis, in a city called Hillsboro.

these are captive bred from many generations of captive breds. The guy who breeds them is from central Missouri. I bought them on the KS clasdsifieds then he shipped them to me. They are native to Arizona. Thanx for the kind words.

I don't think knobs are from AZ. Try Mexico in the Tarahumara Mts. of Chihuahua.

I just got into snake keeping again after a couple years off. My girlfriend keeps a couple corns, I got jealous so I picked up this pair. I still am and always will be very interested in the field "collecting" (pictures, memories) aspect of the hobby. I find tons of fox snakes, Chicago garters, browns and milks near home, what do you find way up north there?? Very nice snake BTW..
