I just got a 10gal tank with mesh top to house my crickets while I gutload them. Can anyone recommend what to toss in with them until I build up my eggcrate supply???

toilet paper rolls work great.. as well as paper towel rolls.. aything they can hide in .. in a pinch you could also use bunched up newspaper..
