What are the temps at, we cant help you without details, we need your "hot spot" temp, ambient air temp and your cool end temps, also your humidiy, a tegu not feeding in my experiences is due to low heat, and with reds low humidity, But a tegu not feeding could be caused by dozens of factors. A tegu not feeding is not good, my red is a bottomless pit, the only other reptile I have that out eats the red is my frilled, He will eat until his sides split
thanks

You should share your details with us if you have a question, but before you get upset about a possibly sick tegu too much let me state that you probably already answered your own question without even realizing.
Tegus will often stress a bit when you are changing their enviroment. You just moved your tegu to your home a few days before you posted so it is probably just a little scared and stressed. Just offer a few crickets at a time and wait for it to eat. The tegu will eat when it gets hungry.
Post the answers to the questions posted by nogard and we will try to make sure your enviroment is set up ok.

I agree with both posts - and if your temps and all are good, its mostly likely that the tegu is just stressed. It's not unusual for them to bury themselves for a few days when they first arrive.
I just got a female blue and she buried herself for three days and didn't come out once. But now shes acting completely normal.
In addition - if the tegu is stressed out, it will not eat if you are hovering over the cage watching it!
Leave some food out for it and walk away, give him a chance to eat when there isn't a big scary human to worry about.
Best of luck - please keep us posted.
