Crocodile Skink Care

seboba17 Jul 14, 2005 08:57 PM

I just got a new Orange Eyed Crocodile Skink. I was told to keep it cool and wet, so I used moss as substrate. Is this the right thing? Do they need need heat?

Also, I am a little worried cause I haven't seen it feed. I through in a couple crickets and it didn't seem to have any response, and with the moss, the crickets hide pretty quickly. Are they very shy when it comes to eating? And does anyone know how long it might take to settle in a start feeding?
