Well with a pastel female you are guarnteed to produce morphs no matter what you breed it too. A albino female only realy benefits to produce hets or if the male you are breeding to it had the albino gene... Just depends what morphs you are focusing on....

No matter which way you look at it, an albino anything is still just an albino with a little different pattern, which really isn't that interesting to me. Pastel adult females are worth their weight in gold because of all the differnt morphs you can produce though, and most look very different-Good Luck

I agree with Mike 100%, both morphs are beautiful in their own right. However when it comes to designer crosses then you have to go with the pastel. Maybe when I see an albino clown or an albino pinstripe I`ll change my mind, but for now its pastel all the way. Mark Petros BallPython777.com

Assuming you mean they are both breedable females - well - I can think of a bunch of things to do with a pastel female - because I have a bunch of possible mates - I also have an albino male I could pair with the albino female - yeah - I would take the pastel - but if you don't have some nice potential mates - I'd take the albino pick up a het male for another $100 and go from there. Depends on what you have to breed or what your budget is to buy for males - and most important what you want to work with!

I think the pastel is the better choice too. I was in a discussion with a friend who said he would prefer the albino. So, I made him a bet that most people would choose the pastel and it looks like im winning! i have some things in mind for my pastel females this season!! I really want to get into a pastel clown project and have been trying to get a breedable clown female to mate with my super pastel male but it seems that the people who have them for sale wont return inquires! So, i may have to pic up a clown male and take the long road. Thanks for posting!!

For short term, the pastel. Once the market is flooded however, real soon...

Since I have both, I really don't care. Both are color morphs but the albino is best crossed with pattern morphs. Personally, I'm working on long-term projects with DH recessive animals.
