Hi,
I was wondering if anyone had personal experience with breeding these, as my pair had a nice good lockup yesterday for well over an hour, and my female appears to be cycling. She's bloated today and basking vigourously at the hottest spot in the cage. Typically, how long is the period before she deposits the eggs?
If I'm correct about her condition I take it she'll start pacing looking for a good site to lay, but I want to have a nestbox ready well in advance, because I'll be working a lot for the next two weeks and won't be home to monitor them.
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
