LELE update on my female

chameleon76 Jul 15, 2005 12:52 PM

hi how is everyone? LELE i have been so busy with our new baby boy {not a chameleon lol} but what ended up hapening is we got together with a couple who is my wif and i friends and they had a friend who is a vet not an extremely experienced herp vet but none the less he came over and checked her out he seemed to think she was gravid and said to him she looked very healthy and things should be ok. well i was still worried untill yesterday she was pacing the cage and when i came home she had already dug and was turned around laying so actually she is more on track with the norm as far as egg clutches for a year so this morning she was still covering up the nest so today hopefully i can uncover the nest and will post # of eggs like i said her last clutch was bigger than her first so i will let you know. hey do you have any plans for another cham? and what kind? thanks for the support PS. last night after laying, all bulges were gone will examine her after she has returned to climbing dont want to stress her.

sorry for the delay in posting but have been a bit out of touch. I am glad to hear that all is well! Thanks for the update

I am not sure about another cham, but maybe in the fall. I have Darwin as a distraction and my wild silk moths (Luna's namesake for one) keep me very busy this time of year. I will NOT be getting a female and not sure about another veiled. Have had some offers, so we shall see. Thanks for asking...
