My baby GTP (local unknown) shed for the first time since I've had it (Mothers Day). Anyway - after his shed I noticed that he is turning red - I expected green eventually - but the first few inches from his head down have got some red coming in (this area appears to be the only place where the color is different). Is this normal color change or is it something I should worry about? LOL - My camera is not very good and the flash kept washing it out too much to tell - but you can kind of see it in the photo - normal or worry?

He's got a bunch of other perches in his cage but those vine hangers seem to be his favorite place to hang out!

The dark tail looks like a Sarong type. Reminds me of mine!

Heres a picture of one of my babies I produced that started out as a bright yellow baby. It started to turn reddish orange at about 5 months of age and just kept getting more and more red. One of the siblings looks identical. Some of the others have it too, but nowhere near the extent that these two have. I have high hopes for it, but it could mean absolutely nothing and it could turn completely green.

Thanks - you've managed to catch the red much better than I did - but that's it! I guess if the redder they are indicates how green they might turn out - that would explain it, the parents of this guy are bright lime green! I guess I'll wait and see.
