Thanks Mike, I was using a zoom lens so I had to stand about 10 feet away to take those pics.

first I've heard of a whiteside gene in Sonoran Gophers? Is this something new or did you cross a w.s. bull in the line along the way?

Russ, I don't know if it is a true whitesided morph. It was found in the wild. This one has blue eyes.
