Still air or Turbofan hovabators?

amnestia Jul 15, 2005 05:49 PM

Which one is better? I remember hearing somewhere that the Turbofan model tends to dry out the eggs. Any advice would be helpful.

I definately prefer still air, it seemed that when I used the turbofan I had the worse time keeping the humidity/moisture at the right temp and lost quite a few eggs that shouldn't have gone bad. I went back to still air and haven't had those problems again. I was told that turbofans are more for doing bird eggs, but maybe someone else could chime in to correct me if I'm wrong.
