Antivenin Banks?

cobrafan Jul 15, 2005 05:53 PM

I saw in a recent post by G. Longhurst that it is possible to become a member of an Antivenin Bank...I would like to know more about this. I am a South Carolina resident and only keep one hot but this seems worthwhile. Thanks in advance for any info!

Miami Dade no longer accepts memberships. They bill through the hospitals now. I'm pretty sure you're already a member and the only pre-requisite is that you are bitten.

Hi, Chad---
Not sure if I'm the "bill" you're referring to, but remember, I'm KINGcobrafan, from Minnesota. As for your question, I won't be at Columbia but Daytona for sure. Hope to see you there.
