My New Great Basin Gopher

Jason Nelson Jul 15, 2005 06:24 PM

I had this little guy hatch out a couple weeks ago . He is a F1 from Tooele Co Utah . The parents are abberent and this guy took after them . I had 2 other hatchling from this clutch but they turn out more normal looking. I so happy with the looks of this guy and thought I would share.

Unusual snake. Do you think it will be redder as an adult?

That's a neat snake! It would be awsome to see something like that pop out of an egg.

Thanks Colby
Yeah I was pretty excited , it was 6 years in the making to get here.

Hi Jason

Congrats! 6 years is a long wait. I do remember when you guys showed the first wild caught male(?) a couple of years back. I guess this is one of the reasons you applied for the permit right? Looks like your pit collection is starting to be the biggest in the nation. Just looking at your price list makes me dizzy, hehe. Good job and keep it up man!

Hey Jason!!

That is a very killer and different looking Great Basin gopher there. I have yet to add one to my collection but if I have any space available, I may try to this year.

This snake is as rare as the last Asphyx album brutha!

really nice Jason. I knew it looked great after hatching, but man after seeing it now that it's shed I am very jealous! I will be looking forward to seeing more of these guys and offspring from this one too! Congrats again on an amazing looking snake.

Have a good one,

Gregg F.
