gray treefrog tadpoles

chriscj Jul 15, 2005 08:35 PM

I found some gray treefrog tadpoles in this old pool. The problem is on monday they are gonna drain or chlorinate the pool, killing all of them. Would it be better for them to be released into another place or could i try and take care of them? I've have done other tadpoles just not treefrog tadpoles. Is there a place that has a treefrog tadpole care sheet?

I raise them on fish flakes, algea wafers, and boiled cabbage. I keep them in aquariums, a larger kiddie pool, and a horse water trough. if your just looking to raise them for release you can get a cheap kiddie pool leave it outside fill with dechlorinated water and feed the tads until they form into froglets. They will take care of themselves hop out and feed on whatever is around your yard before the finally start expanding there range.
