OMG!! It finally happened

Ok, well i live in NY so these thigns are illegal to get and all that. On top of that my mom is crazy and hates sankes.... However, i went to this store today with my friend and what did i find? EVERYTHING!! I mean he just didnt care if it was illegal..he had boas, pythons, VIPERS...posin dart frogs, he even had 2 monkeys!!! Neways i just decided to be like w/e and i got the snake..its only about two months old..maybe a lil more but its like 18 inches big...its beautiful though....its like a normal but its really yellow...it looks awesome. Ill put up pictures tomorow...but are there any tips i could get from you guys for a newbie??

I thought NY only banned large constrictors like burnese. Anyays good luck!

Im pretty sure Ball Pythons(if thats what you're talking about, LOL) arent illegal in NY. I think its only large contrictors like Burms, retics and rocks over ten feet in length. Maybe some big monitors as well. In my opinion this ban is largely to blame on these idiots who walk around in public with the burms(and balls as well) around their necks. If they really cared about the snakes the last place they would have them is around their necks outside in the middle of April. I see it all the time. Good luck. Remember, keep those snakes in the house. Some people are horribly afraid of them.
