Just thought I would share some pics of my Snapper. I caught him early this year (over wintered in the nest). He is about 2in right now and is in a 20gal long.

0.1 Red Eared Slider, 1.0 Common Snapper, 1.0 Bearded Dragon and a 55gal Native Fish Tank with a 6in LM Bass, 3 Crawdads and a Pleco.
I use to have a collection of Leopard Geckos that I bred, but have sold them.

Right on! Nice looking little friend you have there...
keep it nice and fed so it doesn't look at that substrate as a food source. Can be a bummer~ learned the hard way once upon a time in a galaxy far~ far away...

P.S. Mine LOVE cubed steak (cheap meat) I cut it down to the size of their mouth (mine are silver dollar /- in size right now, but growing quick!).
I feed it to them them by hand for now. I handle them daily... Sooner or later you'll wonder if you've been feeding a dog that looks like a snapper! I keep a few pieces in a ziplock to cut down to smaller pieces in the fridge and freeze the rest until I need a cube or two. Your turtle will love you for it!! :D
