hi, i was just given 2 fire bellied toads. im building them a vivarium with plants, reciculated water, the works. i was wondering if water plants would be enough of a filter in the water?

This is sometimes difficult. You'll have to have adequate lighting for the plants, but not so much for algae growth to take over. In my experience you'll still have to do some water changes. Test the water on and off in the meantime to make sure the ammonia levels are good also. Good luck.
