I used to post on this forum alot as gopherlover. It's probably been a good year since my last post but I've moved up in the world of pits a bit.
Anyways here's the beef. I rescued an injured gravid sd gophersnake about 3 weeks ago. She had two massive open fleshed areas without any skin or scales. Basically undamaged but exposed muscle. Well I came back from one of my vacations and she had layed her eggs in a bed of peet-moss that I had prepared before I left. She's doing fine and the eggs look nice (all seven of them). I have no idea how to incubate. They've been in the cage with her gaurding them for about 3 days at the temprature of 76 degrees constant.
I need to know what further steps should be taken. Any info on this would be of major help.
As for the wounds on her, I've been treating them with neosporen to fight infection and to ease the healing process but I haven't hit her with that these past few days since she goes to rip my hand off everytime it enters the cage.
