Nest builder: Mud Snake

Oxyrhopus Jul 16, 2005 04:03 PM

I put a layer of mulch in the box and she piled the mulch into a nest to lay her eggs.

And most only thought Cobras make and nest and guard their eggs.

Mud snakes coil their eggs for up to 12 weeks or more.

I should have a photo tomorrow of her with her eggs.

After breakfast of course.

It would be funny if she gave live birth instead of laying eggs wouldn't it. Well as soon as she lays, get those pics.
