Thanks for your replies to my earlier post about my second deformed baby.
A few facts:
1) After I lost 14 eggs to a defective ESU reptile thermostat, I built a new incubator based around a ZooMed Repti Therm 500R thermostat.
1a) I lost ALL those eggs ... all the eggs I have now have been laid since then.
2) The current temps stay between 83.1 and 84.1 degrees F
3) I am not using the Tremper method in anyway ... temps are staying where they are
4) I supplement the breeder parents with ZooMed Reptivite and Rep-Cal (Phosphorus Free) Calcium with Vitamin D3. (They have a bowl of the same Calcium in their tanks).
5) I used both of the same supplements last year and had a 100% successful (& healthy) hatch rate.
6) The breeders were sold to me as all being unrelated Trempers.
