You are rightly proud to "own" specimens. Their colors & patterns are so striking that all that I can do is drool.
Except that I've heard that Zonatas are somewhat of a specialty animal, with unique challenges:
1. They prefer lizard prey and sometimes won't take mice.
2. They have a shorter active season due to higher elevation.
3. Rumors of zonata disease? What is that??
What is their behavior like? Are they as timid as Milks? Does it vary greatly, depending on the individual? Are they ever confident & curious, like Desert Phase Cal Kings?
