Hugh,
Why didn't you publish that data you collected regarding lepidus? If you have it written up I'd love to review it.

Hey Joe,
The data we were talking about was a subset of a much larger set of data that I examined at A&M and ASDM in the early 80's. I was interested in color pattern variation in lepidus and how it applied to those characters used by Gloyd and others working in the group. I borrowed over 400 museum specimens back then and took all sorts of merisitic, morphological and pattern data. I should publish it someday I guess, but I believe those familiar with lepidus would already know what it would show.
Over the last thirty years I have garnered an even larger mass of demographic and natural history data for lepidus and willardi. I hope to start piecing it together for publication sometime next year.
Instead of answering questions like I should, I tend to move on to more interesting ones as the data present themselves.... I have done a lot of this work with Jim Dixon and Frank Retes, and I bet they would agree with you that I should get it on paper. LOL!!!!
Have a good one Joe. I am off to Georgia for a week to hunt for peach phased alterna and hurricanes. Hugh
