is it possible to tame spiny tailed iguanas? If i handle it for like an hour a day can it get tamed or are they pretty much untameable?

That depends on te species of Ctenosaura, I have a couple Melanosterna. A male thats 4 years old and a female of 1 year old. The male is tame but the female not yet, she's still too young to be tame. My Bakeri's are getting tame but they are already 2 years old. You have to spend much time with them.
My terra's are in the livingroom, so I can see them the whole day. I feed them several times a day. One good meal and some snacks by hand during the day.

Some species are more receptive than others. C. Similus(the most common) tend to be secretive and more difficult to tame than some of the others.
