I rescued this python today,the owner of it became afraid of this snake 2 years ago. He has not handled it in 2 years. This snake had no bedding in the cage and old skin on it. He only fed it 1 rabbit a month because he did'nt want it to get any bigger. The snake is 8 years old and mabey 12 feet and 20 lbs. People these snakes get huge and if you are going to be afraid of a snake over 10 feet don't buy a retic!!! Stick with a smaller snake. Wish me luck that this snake put's on weight and is healthy. It ate 3 rabbits a little while ago so that is a good start. Now I have to get a probing party togeather because this snake is mean....Not probing this one alone.
