Okay, feeding question...

pspguy Jul 15, 2003 08:44 PM

As most of you know (because I'm neurotic, lol)... I have my 2 females that I have gotten within the last week. I want to know how long I should wait before trying to feed them again... I'd like to minimize the amount of stray crix in the tank... any advice is helpful..

Jeff

if theyre younger, feed them daily, if theyre older, feed them every other day.

But they aren't eating yet, so how long should I wait?

You could go ahead and try some food with them, if they don't want it take it out the tank :-].

What I do with all my feeders is I have actually bowl trained my geckos. I feed in one of those small dog crocks or little hamster bowls, They learn that the food is in there and always eat from the bowl. That way I only have to pinch off the back legs of the crickets, so the don'tt jump out, and not have to worry about them roaming the tank.

Have you tried feeding something other than crickets? Maybe they'll eat something else like mealworms.

My girl wouldnt eat unless I dropped mealworms right in front of her when I got her.
