im moving in 2 days back to charlotte so its gonna be a couple days until i can snap some pics. it's real dark like the 2nd hatchling from my first clutch, only it have a few spots of green over its eyes and forehead and a green collar than fades backward. very pretty. it'll be worth the wait!

I asked you down the page the other day, figured I was being shunned
Anyway I'm waiting for my first 2 eggs Sindar layed back in April to hatch, about how many days would you say approx. does it take? ( At lower temps, about 70 - 72 ish )
Also do you guys notice a big growth difference in your eggs? The first 2 she ever layed, one was bigger the one was kinda smallish. All this time it seems they may have changed a tad.
Some of her other eggs layed after the first clutch seemed to have been much bigger when she layed them.
My other lizard eggs there seems to be a very visual change from first layed to hatching time. Just curious, as I have never watched henkeli eggs before??????
Thanks Mike

ive been so busy its been tough keeping up with record keeping.
im sure you can find my posts of when the henks hatched in the logs, so i can give you the dates they were laid.
pair 1: 2-23-05
pair 2: 4-1-05
so it looks like their hatching roughly around the same time the satanics are (~90 days)
as for egg sizes, i havent noticed much difference.

already at about 100 days, I hope they are alright!

cooler temps equal longer incubation. its a developmental thing.
jason
How long so your take, and at what temps do you keep them?

I've had satanic eggs go 124 and 125 days. I've also had some ebanaui go 85 days.
well i would be willing to bet mine have been at the upper end of their temperature lately. it's summer and i keep them in my room which tends to get a little stuffy at times, but never 80 . sit on your eggs and im sure they'll pop out in no time. you're getting close!

My henk eggs are incubated at 70-74 and they have hatched as fast as 136 days and as slow as 156 days... you have a ways to go... be patient...
