BORREGO REPORT FOR 7/17

rootsrok Jul 18, 2005 01:50 PM

I had the pleasure of road cruising last night w/ a couple of friends. The definate highlight of the night would be the over 4 foot red dimond we found. Now, that may not sound like much but this is a pure desert red, I have never seen them even close to the size of this monster. The snake was so heavy, definatly the heaviest crote I have ever handled. Anyway, it was just big, I'll hope to have the pics up soon. All in all, the night went something like this...

5 RED DIAMONDS (1 DOR)
2 ADULT HELLERI
4 CALIFORNIA KINGSNAKES - ALL ADULTS (3 DOR INC. 1 STRIPER)
3 LONGNOSE SNAKES
1 GLOSSY SNAKE (DOR)
1 BANDED GECKO

ALL IN ALL AN OKAY NIGHT CONSIDERING THE HEAT AND THE MOON. ROOTSROK
