Black Rat never loose pttern?

Earl Jul 18, 2005 03:54 PM

A friend of mine a couple years ago in southeastern NY found what he thought was a milk snake. The snake was lying along a 6foot freezer and was as long as it, from what i know milks dont get that long. Is it posible for a black rat to be 6feet long and still have its pattern??

I did not see the snake and it is hard to get correct colors from people who do not know snakes. So thank you both for the help.
