Another pic of the hatching babies!

JM Jul 18, 2005 05:26 PM

Okay~ they've all pipped now, but none have exited the eggs. Actually only 4 pipped on their own~ I went ahead and pipped the last two myself as they were more than 24 hours behind. Looks like all normals. Thats okay~ I knew Axanthics were too much to hope for. I never win at "chance" games so I knew I had pretty slim odds of hitting with two possible hets. I'm not disappointed ~well~ I am a little, but I'm trying not to be~ they are just such cute little Wild Types all the same~ and hopefully I'll get a couple girls out of it.

I'll put up more pics when they actually finish hatching!

Congradulations Cheryl!
This was my first year as well..it's overwhelming isn't it!
Good luck with their possible genetics.

btw...I have another clutch of three eggs that were layed the same day as yours...so when yours pipped...it broke me!...i hadda go and cut mine open.
..and this one decided to peek out already.
