average weight charts

JM Jul 18, 2005 06:09 PM

Some of y'all may remember~ about a year and a half ago I put together some average weight charts on some neonates I had. Well~ with the UPGRADE that fried my hard drive last year I lost all that data and have not been able to update it in some time.

I rebuilt it this morning. Not the same data as the original charts which had values for 20 hatchlings~ some of those hatchlings have been sold since and I don't have their records any longer. The new charts only have the 15 I still own documented in them.

Just thought some of y'all might find it interesting. I obviously find it interesting as I just keep weighing all these guys every month!

i weigh mine every time i feed them. i like seeing the weight gain followed by the "clean" weight. its crazy....when i put the snakes on the scales they get super calm because they know that the next step is the feeding tank.

sorry about you info loss.

Great chart, I was worried a little about one of my males but now I see he is about average (compaired to the ones in the chart) Did you do a breakdown between males and females? I notice my females gain much quicker than my males. I am going to start a running tally myself... and if you like, I can forward it as the info comes in. It would also be interesting to note if different geographical areas affect them in anyway such as being in the northern US as compaired to the southern US

I was just searching the web for something like this. I was told my male was 9-10 months old but having him weighed at the vet and being only 226g it doesn't jive. The Vet deemed him healthy so who knows. Seems happy to me.
