I have noticed some flaking or white substance on my baby common snapper. Is this just normal shedding? If not how can I treat it? Also can I keep some feeder guppies in with him for a couple days? thanks.

It is probably normal shedding. Snappers shed like crazy for the first 6 months or better. After that, they shed more slowly. I wouldn't worry about it unless the snapper starts acting funny.
That's good to know, thanks.
Yeah most likely normal shedding. Mine just got over the crazy shedding phase. About the feeders, I keep them in my tank 24/7. Gives them something to chase and keep them busy and they also help clean the tank.

I use to have a collection of Leopard Geckos that I bred, but have sold them.
that is true I notice the feeders are always eating something. They also keep this little snapper on the hunt, thanks.
