Hey Anybody,
I've got a pair of Meltzer's Minnesota Bulls--awesome snakes. They are 2 years old and about 39" long. I was wondering how big these guys get. John, are you out there???? Anybody know??? Thanks!

I forget but I think we talked a good while ago... aren't you located in Mankato? At the Campus Lutheran? Sorry if i forget. I have one of John's Kankakee bulls.... I should stop by sometime with her, I'd love to see your pair of MN bulls.

This IL bull is going to be BIG - she's over 40" now and I believe she turns 1 year old in a couple weeks! I remember once seeing a bullsnake deliberately run over at Fort Snelling state park in St. Paul - I was a little kid, but I remember the that the SUV - I think one of those little old Bronco II's - ran it over with BOTH tires. It was a big snake, and musta been a bull.

Thanks! I would love for you to come by and talk snakes!!!! I'm afraid it will be a bit of a drive. I Pastor a Church in Austin, TX-Yee Hah!!! I wish I had the sheckles to buy a camara!!! All my spare change goes to feeding this crew!!! Your head shot looks just like my pair--same black marking behind the eye, same pointed snout! My female is getting darker over all as she grows. They are both chow hounds!!! Thanks again for responding!!!

I really love the look of the northern Bullsnakes, especially from the Midwest. I used to live in Texas, in San Antonio from '92-98 and then a year in Austin following that. I lived near Round Rock. I visit each year and WOW is it ever changing all the time!

Hi Pat,
Most MN. bulls I find in the wild are between 4 and 5 feet. The largest I have ever found was just over 6 feet. They can get larger in captivity tho. Take care. John Meltzer

I have one of your '04 Kankakee bulls. Do you know what the hatch date for these was? Also, how big are the parents? I've been dying to know! Thanks...

I don't remember the hatch date. I wholesaled them to a petstore. The parents are a little over 5 feet. John

I did buy her from PetExpo here in Mankato. Manager there was saying just before the Daytona Show so they must be about a year now. Thanks for the info on the parents!
