Aradia Jul 15, 2003 09:42 PM

Sage got out of her cage tonight. Thank the Goddess Justin saw her making a break for it at the front door, but anyway I was looking at new cages, ones better than my set up now. Can anyone tell me what deminsions a cage/housing should be for an adult corn. I'm looking at the Vision line of Enclousures. Thanks a ton.

Dimensions ? .. do you mean like the sizes? Well, if you do then.. I would get like.. 60 x 20 x 30 or anything near that

Thanks for the advice, yeah I mean size. I just looked up the prices for one that size and sadly that maybe a lil out of my price range. =(

I don't think that was inches(?), that's really big for a corn snake cage!

For vision cages, you would look at model 211 or 221, they are plenty big enough for an adult corn.

Just remember that the recommended minimum size is a 20 long tank, and those are 30" x 12" x 12" (about 360 sq. in.), anything that size or larger should be fine.

I use 20G Long Critter Cages from All-Glass... I have a wholesaler by me that I get them from. I just bought 3 at $35/tank. They have extremely safte slide/lock mechanisms. Never had an escape in any of my locking-top critter cages.

P.S. Wait till ya'll see my setup, my dad and I are nearly done, its a 4 tank rack system with sliding doors that fits 4- 20G Long tanks.
