i have a baby iguana that is very fat should i cut back on his food or is it good for it to be chunky?

How fat?
Chuckwalla fat?

How much food do u give it?
If he eats and poops regurarly, keep it up. If he doesnt poop, you got a problem. Is he active enough? Enclosure big enough for climbing and movement?

he does eat and poop all the time and he is very active always jumping around so thats y i dont think hes sick just thought i would have to put him on a diet.

Dont put her on a diet. It's universally accepted that iguanas do get obesity problems. They need to eat a good iguana diet every day, as much as they want to eat.

I used to have a big iguana. Do you feed him calcium suppliments? His "obesity" could be bloating from malnutrition. Make sure you're feeding him some good veggies like romane lettuce, broccoli, and stuff like that. My iguana got very big once and his arms were fat too, but it was from malnutrition I'm pretty sure. Is he green? If he's green then he's probably just fat and healthy.

According to Melissa Kaplan, author of Iguanas for Dummies, you can't overfeed an Ig. If yours looks "fat" there may be another problem. He/she may be swollen and needs a reptile vet to have a look.
